In 1958-59, Angelo was drafted in the U.S Navy forcing him to miss the winter dance party tour.
Career[]
D'Aleo was friends with "The Belmonts" in High School, The Belmonts first single was Santa Margherita/Teenage Clementine. The Belmonts were paired with Dion in 1957. He and The Belmonts were paired with Dion, And together Dion & The Belmonts recorded and released their first single together. The song was called "We Went Away" recorded in November of 1957. They went on together on American Bandstand and started releasing new singles/songs.
